Hey {{first_name}},
Why God Uses Resistance
God could remove every obstacle in your life.
Sometimes He does.
Most of the time, He doesn't.
Why?
Because the obstacle is often the classroom.
Resistance develops perseverance.
Perseverance develops character.
Character develops hope.
We often pray for easier lives.
God is usually building stronger people.
The same principle exists in the gym.
Muscles grow because they encounter resistance.
Without stress, there is no adaptation.
Without challenge, there is no growth.
Without discipline, there is no transformation.
This principle extends far beyond fitness.
It applies to marriage, parenting, business, finances, and faith.
At Second Half Strong, we summarize this journey with four words:
Decide that decline is not your future.
Diagnose where you honestly are today.
Design systems that move you toward the life God intends.
Discipline yourself to follow those systems even when emotions fade.
The objective isn't simply to become mentally tougher.
It's to become a faithful steward of every gift God has entrusted to you.
Your body.
Your marriage.
Your children.
Your finances.
Your influence.
Resistance isn't evidence that God has abandoned you.
It may be evidence that He's preparing you.
Don't waste today's obstacle.
Use it to become the person He is shaping you to be.
Stop quitting on yourself.
